For broken-hearted Olivia Larsen, nothing can change the fact that her twin sister, Violet, is gone... until a mysterious, beautiful gown arrives on her doorstep. The dress doesn't just look magical; it is magical. It has the power to grant her one wish, and the only thing Olivia wants is her sister back. With Violet again by her side, both girls get a second chance at life. And as the sisters soon discover, they have two more dresses-and two more wishes left. But magic can't solve everything, and Olivia is forced to confront her ghosts to learn how to laugh, love, and live again.

Wish was a cute read. It wasn't like most "granted-3-wishes" books out there and that's what kept it interesting for me.

Olivia is struggling to deal with her sister's death, but to make matters worse, her parents decide to move the family from their small town on the east coast to California - new school, new place, but no sister. Needing a dress for one of her mother's work parties, Olivia takes a ripped up dress of her sister's to a little shop in town. The dress she receives the next day isn't hers, but instead a magical dress.

Olivia is a unique character - after wishing her sister back she feels she has everything she could want and there isn't any need for the other 2 wishes she has. Most girls with 3 wishes end up wishing for ridiculous things and making an utter mess of things. Characters like that tend to get old, quickly, there for a character like Olivia was a nice change.

Wish was overall a cut read. It was a little slow starting out but after the first half or so, it got a little more interesting (just no can't-put-down-interesting)

At first, it got me interested. After reading a few reviews from YA readers, it didn't anymore. I don't know what to think yet. I might give it a try one day...
